Integrative Somatic Coaching uses various modalities (movement, breathwork, mindfulness, cognitive exercises, among many others) to help clients build greater awareness of what is happening in their bodies, nervous systems and minds, and gives them practical tools they can use to bring their nervous systems back into a regulated state. From that state of regulation clients can then notice what is happening sooner, understand what they may need, and have more choices in how to respond.
I work with each client to create a holistic program that is individually-tailored to their unique needs.

Being a hairdresser is extremely physical work, so using body-based techniques to regulate the nervous system makes sense.
Hairstylists and salon professionals spend their days managing physical strain, time pressure, sensory overload, client expectations, emotional labor, and the constant demand to stay “on.” Integrative Somatic Coaching gives us tools to get to the place where burnout originates: the nervous system. We build greater awareness of what is happening in the body and nervous system during the workday, and come up with practical tools to use before, during, and after work.

While coaching can support mental health, it does not replace professional mental health treatment. Life coaches are not licensed mental health professionals, and they are not equipped to diagnose or treat mental illnesses. While coaching can complement therapy by providing support, motivation, and practical strategies, it is not a substitute for therapy when therapy is needed.

All contracts are binding and I do not offer refunds on coaching services. Your purchase indicates your commitment to participate in the process and follow through to its conclusion. Should you need to reschedule a coaching session, you may do so by providing 24 hours notice in advance of your session and making up the session within a week of the originally scheduled date. Any missed sessions or canceled sessions with less than 24 hours advance notice will be forfeited.

I sure do! I have an eclectic background and skill set. In addition to coaching I also offer Reiki energy work, breathwork, and yoga instruction. I am happy to work with clients to customize a program that includes any or all of these modalities.
